abstract |
The problem described by the present invention is to provide: a structure which has appropriate transparency and diffuse reflectivity and which includes a reflective layer for minimizing glare; and a method of forming the reflective layer. The solution according to the invention relates to a structure which comprises a substrate and a reflecting layer obtained by fixing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase and wherein, when a cross section of the reflective layer is observed with a scanning electron microscope lines formed by dark sections and lines formed by clear sections from the cholesteric liquid crystal phase exhibit either a wave-like structure, or said lines are inclined with respect to the surface of the substrate and at least a portion of the lines formed by dark sections and lines formed by clear sections are discontinuous. |
