abstract | A dark period and a light period are alternately provided in the resting period of the plant. In the dark period, the light intensity of the light irradiated to the plant to be grown is smaller than the light intensity of the light compensation point. In the bright period, blue light with a wavelength of 400 nm or more and 500 nm or less is emitted smaller than the light intensity of the light compensation point. The time T of one cycle of repetition of the dark period and the light period is set to 2 μs or more and 500 μs or less. The duty ratio (ΔT / T) of the time ΔT of the bright period to the time T of one repetitive cycle is set to 20% or less. The photosynthetic photon flux density of blue light is set to 0.001 μmol · m −2 s −1 or more and 4.0 μmol · m −2 s −1 or less. |
