abstract |
The present invention relates to novel improved fluorinated metal complexes based on bipyridine ligands. The complexes are characterized by a fluorination equilibrium between particular substituents linked to the pyridine rings, i.e. the total number of fluorine atoms in all said substituents ranges from 7 to 26 and, at the same time, the The difference in number of fluorine atoms between said substituents is less than or equal to 13. The novel complexes advantageously combine good solubility in polar solvents, in particular alcoholic solvents, to obtain an efficient photovoltaic performance. |
