The present invention relates to composite structures and methods of use for delivering particles of explosive propellant to a subterranean formation. The composite structure may include one or more packages disposed around a plurality of particles of explosive propellant. The explosive proppant can be exposed and triggered to create micro-seismic events, which can be used to determine the geometry of the subterranean formation or other properties in the formation. |
