According to the present invention, a packaging material for batteries is designed from a laminate which sequentially comprises at least one layer of base material, a barrier layer and a hot melt resin layer, in that order. The bond layer side surface of the barrier layer is provided with a corrosion resistant film which is in contact with the bonding layer; relative to this corrosion-resistant film, a POCO peak, attributed to the C1s of a bond OC = O, is detected in the range from 287 eV to 290 eV, and a peak PC-C, attributed to the C1 of a DC bond is detected at 285 eV by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy; and the PC OO H / C-C peak height ratio, obtained by dividing the height of the POCO peak by the height of the PC-C peak, is in the range of 0.10 to 0.50 (inclusive). |
