abstract The object of the present invention is the stable operation of an absorption refrigerator. The liquid composition measuring device 65 according to the invention is used to measure the liquid composition consisting of a liquid mixture used in an absorption refrigerator 1 comprising: a regenerator 10 which uses, as a three-component type of active medium, a liquid mixture consisting of water, lithium bromide and 1,4-dioxane and heating and evaporating the active medium; a condenser 20 for cooling and condensing the mixed vapor evaporated by the regenerator 10; an evaporator 30 for evaporating under vacuum the liquid mixture condensed by the condenser 20 and obtaining a cold energy using the heat of vaporization of the liquid mixture; and an absorber 40 for feeding the lithium bromide to absorb the mixed vapor generated by the evaporator 30. The liquid composition measuring device 65 has a first measurement unit 651 at a third measurement unit 653 to measure different m-1 types of physical properties, and the liquid composition measuring device 65 calculates the liquid concentration or liquid composition of the active medium, which contains m types of mixed liquids, on the basis of the m-1 different types of physical properties measured by the first measurement unit 651 to the third measurement unit 653.
