abstract The present invention relates to an integrated process for producing rigid and flexible packages, such as bottles and sacks from the shell, bagasse and citrus fruit buds, comprising a step of hydrolysis, a first step of removal of essential oils, a a step of separating and purifying the hydrated ethanol comprising a second removal of essential oils and a catalytic dehydration step to obtain the ethene. The produced ethylene can be used for the production of polymers such as polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene terephthalate which are used in the production of packages.
