abstract |
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the administration of lipophilic compounds in and / or through the skin, comprising: not less than 55% by weight of volatile solvent or a mixture of said solvents; at least one lipophilic compound; one or more phospholipids; one or more film-forming polymers; and an oily additive which is a mixture rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids formulated so that the polyunsaturated fatty acids constitute the major component of said mixture based on the total weight of the fatty acids in the mixture, wherein said polyunsaturated fatty acids comprise linoleic acid omega 6 and α-linoleic acid omega 3 in a weight ratio of not less than 2: 1. The oily additive is preferably a hemp seed oil. |
