titleOfInvention | HERPESVIRUS RAPPORTEUR FOR SPECIFIC PHASE VIRAL REPLICATION CYCLE PHASE INTERROGATION |
abstract | The invention relates to a herpesvirus genetically modified for a specific phase interrogation of the viral replication cycle, comprising at least two of the reporters a) to c), wherein said reporters comprise a) a nucleic acid sequence coding for a first functionally marker coupled to an essential immediate early gene endogenous viral promoter; b) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a second marker operably coupled to an endogenous viral promoter of an essential early gene; and / or c) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a third marker operably coupled to an essential late gene endogenous viral promoter. The invention also relates to a nucleic acid molecule comprising one or more nucleic acid sequences coding for at least two, preferably three, reporters (a) to (c), or the genome of the genetically modified virus. Corresponding systems, kits and methods for specific phase interrogation of the viral replication cycle are further described. |
