abstract The invention relates to a display device and its display brightness adjustment method. The display device comprises: a display screen (101), and an ambient light sensor (102) disposed in the display screen (101). The ambient light sensor (102) includes a photoinduced deformation element (103). The photoinduced deformation element comprises (103) a layer of photoinduced deformation material (104). The photoinduced deformation element (103) is configured to deform with the change of ambient light to obtain the output of the ambient light sensor (102). The ambient light sensor (102) is simple in structure, easy and feasible in the preparation process, and can be easily combined with the display screen (101).
