abstract |
A fluororubber composition which is a kneaded blend of: a masterbatch of carbon nanotubes comprising 100 parts by weight of a fluororubber polymer and 4 to 20 parts by weight of multilayered carbon nanotubes which are fibrous carbon nanostructures not including monolayer carbon nanotubes; and a raw fluororubber material comprising a fluororubber polymer and a reinforcing filler. The multilayer carbon nanotubes are contained in an amount of 0.5 to 6% by weight of the kneaded mixture. To produce the fluororubber composition, the mixing is carried out with rollers or a kneader. The fluororubber composition can provide molded crosslinked fluororubber articles having wear resistance and blister resistance. |
