abstract | The object of the invention is to provide a highly dispersible solid pigment composition as an intermediate product, and a process for the automatic and continuous preparation of the composition. The solution according to the invention relates to a dispersion of solid pigment as an intermediate product. The dispersion is redispersible with an aqueous or organic dispersion medium, and the dispersion contains between 20 and 80% by weight of one or more pigments and between 20 and 80% by weight of one or more dispersing agents, each case on the basis of the total weight of the pigment (s) and the dispersing agent (s), and has a cumulative volume particle diameter distribution at 50% D 50 less than or equal to 150 nm, as determined for the particles of pigment redispersed by laser light scattering. |
