ANALYTE SENSOR |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an electrode measuring the presence of an analyte. The electrode comprises a working conductor having an electrode reactive surface and a first chemical reagent that is sensitive to the analyte. The electrode further includes a first transport material that allows flow of the first analyte to the first chemical reagent and a second transport material that provides a reagent to the first chemical reagent. The first chemical reagent does not come into contact with the electrode reactive surface while at least partially masking a portion of the electrode reactive surface. |
