abstract The present invention relates to an additive formulation for reducing or preventing microbially induced corrosion in concrete, a cementitious material (such as mortar or plaster), or a combination thereof. The additive formulation comprises a quaternary silane and a fungicide, the ratio of quaternary silane to fungicide in the formulation being in a range of about 10: 1 to about 1:10, preferably in a range of about 5: 1 at about 1: 5.
