abstract The present invention provides compositions and methods for treating a liver disorder. Systems, compositions, and methods include the use of activated regulatory T cells to alleviate, treat, or reduce a liver disorder. Regulatory T cells may be allogeneic regulatory T cells that may be present in an amount of about 5 × 105 to 2 × 10 6. Hepatic disorder requiring treatment may be hepatitis, cirrhosis, chronic liver disease, acute liver disease or liver failure.
