abstract | The invention relates to a method for verifying the success of seeding individual cells in nano-well networks (9). The method comprises the following steps: illuminating a network of nano-wells (9) inoculated with individual biological cells (2), the nano-well network (9) comprising a number of nano-wells (17) which must contain after seeding, at most one biological cell (2), with at least one illumination and / or excitation radiation and with spatial resolution as image data, detecting radiation generated by the radiation of illumination and / or excitation, - evaluating the image data in terms of the presence of exactly one cell (2) in the respective nano-wells (17), - evaluating the image data terms of presence of cells (2) in intermediate spaces (18) between the nano-wells (14) 17), and - storing the positions of the nano-wells (17) in which more than one single cell (2) are present, as well as the intermediate spaces (18) in which cells (2) are present. The invention further relates to a device for implementing the method as well as nano-well networks (9). |
