The invention relates to polyester-isocyanate coatings having desirable thermal resistance and adhesion to a plurality of polymeric materials, as well as labels comprising such coatings. The polyester-isocyanate compounds present in the coatings can be obtained by reaction of an isocyanate and a hydroxylated polyester. The coatings can be applied to labels and have a reduced curl tendency while exhibiting improvements in heat transfer printability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, scratch resistance and solder resistance at wave. |
