abstract The present invention provides an elastic wave device in which a Q value does not easily deteriorate even if a fractional band is adjusted. Provided is an elastic wave device 1, wherein a piezoelectric body 4 is provided directly or indirectly on a high sound speed material layer 2, an IDT electrode 5 is provided directly or indirectly on the piezoelectric body 4, the IDT electrode 5 comprises a first bus bar 11, a second bus bar 12 separated from the first bus bar 11, a plurality of first electrode fingers 13, and a plurality of second electrode fingers 14, weighting is applied to the IDT electrode 5, and the weighting is a weighting having a floating electrode finger 17 not electrically connected to the first bus bar 11 and the second bus bar 12, or a weighting having an integrated electrode finger obtained by metalizing an interelectrode gap between the first electrode fingers 13 or the second electrode fingers 14.
