Provided is an incubator with which it is possible to keep the temperature and humidity of the interior of a culture chamber uniform, and that does not develop condensation in the interior of the culture chamber. Also provided is an incubator that does not adversely affect the aseptic environment of the interior by supplied water vapor and also maintains an aseptic environment by making the air pressure of the interior of the culture chamber higher than that of the outside environment. The incubator has a culture chamber equipped with an insulated door and insulated walls, a circulating means for circulating the air in the interior of the culture chamber, a temperature-regulating means for regulating the temperature of the air in the interior of the culture chamber, and a humidifying means for humidifying the air in the interior of the culture chamber. The humidifying means is equipped with a compressed-gas-generating means for generating compressed gas, a water supply means for supplying water, a mixed gas-liquid regulator for regulating the mixed gas-liquid obtained by mixing the compressed gas and the water, and a vaporizer for vaporizing the mixed gas-liquid to generate water vapor. In addition, the water vapor generated by the vaporizer can be supplied directly to the air circulated by the circulating means without passing through an air filter. |
