| abstract | Provided is a water activator that can effectively activate water while suppressing pressure loss, and that can lengthen or eliminate a replacement cycle of a granular water activating material. This water activator 20 comprises: a cylindrical tank 21; a two-layer cylindrical container 22 that is coaxially arranged inside the tank; and a plurality of granular water activating materials (ceramic balls 23) with which the inside of the container is filled. The container is provided with a bottom plate 41, an inner tube 42, an outer tube 43, and a cover plate 44. In addition, a cylindrical filling space S1 that is filled, in an axial direction, with the plurality of granular water activating materials is formed between the bottom plate, the inner tube, the outer tube and the cover plate. The inner tube and the outer tube are formed so as to restrict passage of the granular water activating material therethrough and allow passage of water therethrough. In addition, an inlet 27 is provided so as to allow water to flow into the inside of the tank from a tangential direction, and an outlet 28 is provided so as to allow water inside the inner tube of the container to flow out from the tank. |
