titleOfInvention Image acquisition system, control device, and image acquisition method
abstract [Problem] To provide an image acquisition system, a control device and an image acquisition method which enable suitable images to be provided to practitioners and assistants using information about a medical tool. [Solution] This image acquisition system is provided with a light source unit, an imaging unit, a medical tool detection unit, and an image processing unit. The light source unit emits normal light and excitation light to an affected part wherein a medical tool which emits fluorescence when irradiated with the excitation light is present. The imaging unit captures images of the affected part while under irradiation with the excitation light and irradiation with the normal light, and acquires a first image signal obtained by capturing an image of the fluorescence and a second image signal obtained by capturing an image of the normal light. The medical tool detection unit detects, on the basis of the first image signal, a region wherein the medical tool is present in a first image obtained from the first image signal. The image processing unit generates a display image using the outcome of the detection of the presence region and the second image signal.
