titleOfInvention Production method of liquid crystal composition
abstract The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method which enables more efficient production of a liquid crystal composition formed by mixing two or more liquid crystal compounds without sacrificing the reliability of the liquid crystal composition. This method for producing a liquid crystal composition containing at least two compounds is characterized by involving: a step (I) in which a dissolution promoting component is prepared by changing a reference compound, through a response to an external stimulus, to a phase with a higher fluidity than that in the normal state of the reference compound alone, wherein said reference compound is one of the constituent compounds of the liquid crystal composition which is capable of transitioning to a phase with a higher fluidity than that in the normal state of the constituent compound alone; and a step (II) for mixing the dissolution promoting component and a compound configuring the aforementioned liquid crystal composition other than the aforementioned reference compound.
