abstract | Provided is a manufacturing method for a fluorine-containing ether composition, the method making it possible to manufacture, at low-cost and with good productivity, a fluorine-containing ether compound that can be appropriately used in a surface treatment agent, or, a fluorine-containing ether compound that is useful as a fluorine-containing either compound intermediary body. A manufacturing method for a fluorine-containing ether compound in which NH 3 is reacted with A-O-Q-(R f1 O) m -R f2 -R 1 -CO-Z, thereby obtaining A-O-Q-(R f1 O) m -R f2 -R 1 -CO-NH 2 . Therein, A represents a C1-20 perfluoroalkyl group, Q represents a single bond, a fluoroalkylene group comprising at least one hydrogen atom, or the like, R f1 and R f2 each independently represents a perfluoroalkylene group, m represents an integer 2-200, (R f1 O) m may represent two or more R f1 O, R 1 represents a single bond, an alkylene group, or the like, Z represents -OR 4 , or the like, and R 4 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group. |
