Micro-fluidic device |
abstract |
A micro-fluidic device is provided for a chip for receiving a sample to be tested. The micro-fluidic device comprises: an enzyme reactor vessel (10); and a separation column (28). The enzyme reactor vessel (10) comprises: a plurality of tubes (12) for holding the sample, wherein the tubes comprise fibre optic cables, and wherein an interior surface of each of the plurality of tubes has been coated with enzymes for enzymatic reaction with the sample. The enzyme reactor vessel (10) is fluidly connected to the separation column (28), which is for receiving and separating the products of the enzymatic reaction of the sample. |
