abstract [Problem] To suppress the impact of signal distortion caused by machining error or sensor assembly error, etc. [Solution] Provided is a position detection device comprising: a waveform correction unit that corrects the waveforms of a first signal and a second signal, said first signal being detected from a first track provided in a moving body and having a prescribed cycle scale and said second signal being detected from a second track provided in the moving body and having a smaller cycle scale that the prescribed cycle; and a position calculation unit that calculates the position of the moving body on the basis of the corrected first signal and second signal.
