The present invention relates to plant food supplement comprising low molecular weight carrageenan. More specifically, the present invention relates to plant food supplement comprising carrageenan with an increased radiolytic component having an Average Weight Molecular Weight (Mw) of 1.5 to 2 kDa produced by a process of irradiating aqueous carrageenan with a dose of 40 to 100, preferably 40-70 kGy. The method of application is also disclosed herein. |
