abstract | Provided are: an electric anticorrosion system which can appropriately remove hypochlorous acid even when an anticorrosion voltage equal to or greater than a predetermined value is applied; and a seawater desalination plant provided with the same. This electric anticorrosion system 2 has: an electrode 21 disposed in piping 32 through which an electrolyte flows, with insulating materials (35a, 35b) therebetween; an anticorrosion power supply 22 which applies a voltage between the electrode 21 and the piping 32; and a control unit which is provided with at least a flow meter 23, which is installed on the piping 32 and measures the flow rate of the electrolyte flowing through the piping 32, and a residual chlorine meter 24, which measures the concentration of the hypochlorous acid in the electrolyte flowing inside the piping 32, the control unit performing control such that, on the basis of the measured value of the flow rate of the electrolyte obtained from the flow meter 23 and the measured value of the hypochlorous acid concentration inside the electrolyte obtained from the residual chlorine meter 24, at least a hypochlorous acid removing agent is added to the electrolyte flowing through the piping 32. |
