titleOfInvention Silicone oil-treated fumed silica, manufacturing method and application thereof
abstract Provided in the present invention is a silicone oil-treated fumed silica, which has the following physical properties of A) to C): A) a hydrophobicity of 68% by volume or higher; B) a silicone oil immobilization ratio of 60%-95% by mass; and C) when six parts by mass of the silicone oil-treated fumed silica is added into 100 parts by mass of a polyetheramine composition wherein the mass ratio of trimethylolpropane polyoxypropylene amine to 1,3 cyclohexanedimethylamine is 95:5, the viscosity of an obtained polyetheramine composition after the same stands at 25°C for one hour is 4000 mPa·s or higher. Preferably, a surface of fumed silica adheres to silicone oil in an inert gas atmosphere at 150°C-300°C, and then undergoes high temperature treatment in an oxygen atmosphere at 150°C to 300°C to obtain the present invention. Further provided are a related preparation method and an application. The silicone oil-treated fumed silica of the present invention has good thickening properties and thickening stability when mixed with a polyetheramine compound, and may be used in a polyetheramine composition which is used as an adhesive of a two-liquid epoxy system; the present invention is simple to prepare, low cost, and suitable for large-scale promotion and application.
