abstract | Provided is a resin composition that comprises a cyclic polyolefin and an ethylene-based polymer and that has excellent impact resistance and maintains high transparency. This resin composition contains (A) 5-95 parts by weight of a cyclic polyolefin and (B) 5-95 parts by weight of an ethylene-based polymer satisfying characteristics (a)-(d) (the total of (A) and (B) being 100 parts by weight). (a): The density is 930-960 kg/m 3 . (b): The MFR is 0.1-15.0 g/10 min. (c): Two peaks are observed in a molecular weight measurement performed by gel permeation chromatography, and the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to the number-average molecular weight (Mn) falls within the range of 3.0-7.0. (d): A fraction having an Mn of 100,000 or more as obtained by molecular weight fractionation has 0.15 or more long-chain branches per 1000 carbon atoms of the main chain. |
