A MnZn-based ferrite sintered body which contains a main component and an auxiliary component and has an average crystal grain diameter of 3 μm or more and less than 8 μm and a sintered body density of 4.65 g/cm3 or more, wherein the main component is composed of Fe in an amount of 53.30 to 53.80 mol% in terms of Fe2O3 content, Zn in an amount of 6.90 to 9.50 mol% in terms of ZnO content and a remainder made up by Mn in terms of MnO content, and the auxiliary component is composed of Si, Ca, Co, Zr and Ta in amounts of 0.003 to 0.020 part by mass in terms of SiO2 content, more than 0 part by mass and 0.35 part by mass or less in term of CaCO3 content, 0.30 to 0.50 part by mass in terms of Co3O4 content, 0.03 to 0.10 part by mass in terms of ZrO2 content and 0 to 0.05 part by mass in terms of Ta2O5 content, respectively, relative to the total amount, i.e., 100 parts by mass, of the main component in the above-mentioned terms. |
