abstract Provided is a lubricating oil composition for a two wheeled vehicle, the lubricating oil composition being able to improve fuel efficiency (and especially fuel efficiency at low speeds), suppress a deterioration in the fatigue life of engine components, and improve clutch friction properties of a two wheeled vehicle. The lubricating oil composition for a two wheeled vehicle contains a base oil (A) having a viscosity index of 120 or more, an ethylene-propylene copolymer (B) and a metal-based cleaning agent (C). The content of the ethylene-propylene copolymer (B) is 0.30 mass% or more relative to the total quantity of the lubricating oil composition. Calcium phenate (C1) and calcium sulfonate (C2) are contained in the composition as the metal-based cleaning agent (C). The mass ratio of the content (Ca 1 ) in terms of calcium atoms of the calcium phenate (C1) and the content (Ca 2 ) in terms of calcium atoms of the calcium sulfonate (C2) satisfies the relationship 1.0 ≤ Ca 1 /Ca 2 . The kinematic viscosity at 100°C is less than 9.3 mm 2 /s, and the HTHS viscosity at 150°C is 2.9 mPa·s or more.
