A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal cured film including a liquid crystal cured layer formed from a cured material of a liquid crystal composition including a polymerization initiator and a liquid crystalline compound capable of exhibiting reverse wavelength dispersive birefringence, the method for manufacturing a liquid crystal cured film including a step for forming a layer of the liquid crystal composition, a step for aligning the liquid crystalline compound included in the layer of the liquid crystal composition, and a step for curing the layer of the liquid crystal composition, the viscosity of a residue of a test composition obtained by removing the polymerization initiator from the liquid crystal composition being 800 cP in the same temperature condition as the layer in the step for aligning the liquid crystalline compound. |
