abstract | The device (1) comprises: - a first assembly (6) able to engage with a handle secured to control means for actuating the assembly to position and attach artificial chordae (7) to the papillary muscle (8) of ruptured chordae, said assembly is arranged at the end of a handle shaft and comprises a spring clip (9) connected in a pivoting and detachable manner to the end of the shaft so as to move, under the action of the control means, from a folded position along the shaft to a position tilted at an angle relative to the shaft in order to be placed perpendicularly relative to the papillary muscle where the chordae need to be replaced, the first assembly (6) comprises means for opening the clip (9) for anchoring, under the action of the control means, the papillary muscle (8) of the ruptured chordae, the first assembly (6) comprises unlocking means for releasing the clip (9) under the action of the control means, said clip (9) being connected to artificial chordae (7) extending upwards into the shaft; - a second assembly (13) able to engage with a handle secured to control means for actuating the assembly to position and attach artificial chordae (7) to a leaflet (2a) of the valve (2), the second assembly (13) is arranged at the end of a handle shaft and comprises attachment means (9, 16) intended to slide along the artificial chordae (7) and connected in a pivoting manner to the end of the shaft so as to move, under the action of the control means, from a folded position along the shaft to a position tilted orthogonally relative to the shaft, the attachment means (9, 16) being suitable for attaching the artificial chordae (7) to said leaflet (2a) under the action of the control means. |
