abstract | The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an embedding agent for a cell mass or a cell structure which allows the cell mass or the cell structure to be stably transported during transportation at low temperature, and allows the cell mass or the cell structure to be easily recovered from the embedding agent in which the cell mass or the cell structure is embedded, after transportation; and a cell mass- or cell structure-containing composition and kit. The present invention provides an embedding agent that is for a cell mass or a cell structure, and that contains a polypeptide which is represented by formula 1 and in which the area size of the largest molecular weight peak is 80% or more of the total area size of all molecular weight peaks as measured by a molecular weight distribution measurement. Formula 1: A-[(Gly-X-Y)n]m-B, wherein X and Y each independently represent an amino acid, m represents an integer of 2-10, n represents an integer of 3-100, and A and B represent an arbitrary amino acid or amino acid sequence. |
