titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method for reflection layer |
abstract | The present invention provides a manufacturing method for a reflection layer having excellent diffuse reflectivity. This manufacturing method for a reflection layer is a manufacturing method for a reflection layer formed by fixing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase, and having wavy light and dark parts derived from the cholesteric liquid crystal phase and observed with a scanning electron microscope in cross section, the method comprising: a step 1 for forming a composition layer containing a liquid crystal compound having a polymerizable group, and a chiral agent, and performing processing for changing the light and dark parts derived from the cholesteric liquid crystal phase and observed with the scanning electron microscope in the cross-section of the formed composition layer into a wave shape; and a step 2 for subjecting the composition layer obtained in step 1 to immobilization processing, wherein the viscosity of a composition constituting the composition layer is 2000 mPa∙s or more in the immobilization processing in step 2. |
