abstract |
The present invention relates to a battery pack comprising a plurality of battery cells, and to a battery cell having improved safety comprising a thermally expandable tape in which heat generated in the charging and discharging processes and internal gas generated by the heat are effectively discharged to the outside of the battery cell by applying the thermally expandable tape, and a method for manufacturing same. The present invention has the effects of improving the safety of a pouch-type secondary battery pack by discharging the gas generated in a pouch-type secondary battery, of capable of operating without a separate device and an external power source by using the pressure of the gas generated inside the secondary battery, and of repeatedly discharging the gas through a thermally expandable fixed unit. |
