abstract |
One aspect of the present invention is a liquid crystal display device 10 which sequentially comprises, in the following order, a non-white light source 1, a rear-side polarizer 21, a rear-side optical film 22, a liquid crystal layer 3 that comprises a front-side polarizer 41 and a front-side optical film 42, and a light conversion layer 33 that converts the wavelength of light which has transmitted through the liquid crystal layer 3. The light conversion layer 33 is a color filter that contains quantum dot particles; the elastic modulus of the front-side optical film 42 is higher than the elastic modulus of the rear-side optical film 22; and the film thickness of the front-side optical film 42 is smaller than the film thickness of the rear-side optical film 22. |
