abstract |
A charging device 10 according to the present invention is provided with: a DC-DC converter 11; a charging circuit 12 that charges a secondary battery 20; a power supply voltage detection circuit 13 that detects an input voltage Ve; an output voltage setting circuit 14 that sets an output voltage of the DC-DC converter 11; and a charging control unit 15 that controls the charging circuit 12 and the output voltage setting circuit 14 on the basis of the input voltage Ve. The charging control unit 15 increases, in a stepwise manner, the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 11 by a prescribed voltage while monitoring the input voltage Ve, and, when the input voltage Ve drops to a first threshold voltage Vth 1 or lower before the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 11 rises to a rated charging voltage, maintains the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 11 at a voltage one step lower from the voltage at that point in time. |
