abstract | A fiber web for a gas sensor is provided. A fiber web for a gas sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention consists of nanofibers including a fiber forming component and a sensing component that reacts with a target substance in a gas to be detected. The fiber web for a gas sensor, according to the present invention, can identify the presence or absence of a target substance contained in a gas to be detected, quantitatively detect the concentration of the target substance, and increase contact and reaction areas for the target substance contained in the gas to be detected, thereby exhibiting improved sensitivity. Further, since the fiber web for a gas sensor easily detects a target substance in a gas to be detected at low cost, the fiber web for a gas sensor can be widely applied to detection of various VOC substances at home, diagnosis and identification of asthma and esophagitis patients, and detection of harmful substances in other industrial safety fields. |
