The present invention relates to a packing for use in pumpjacks and a method for producing same, the packing having improved properties of resistance to wear, friction, temperature, pressure and, generally, the difficult operating conditions to which said pumps are subjected in these types of applications. In particular, the invention describes a product and a series of performed steps that allow an annular packing comprising a base material (5) and a textile covering to be provided, wherein the covering is consistently adhered to the base material (5) when impregnated with same, thus promoting the chemical bond created between the two materials, resulting in greater durability and resistance. |
