titleOfInvention Population of an eye model using measurement data in order to optimize spectacle lenses
abstract The present invention relates to a method, a device and a corresponding computer program product for calculating (optimizing) and producing a spectacle lens with the aid of a semi-personalized eye model. A method in one application of the invention comprises the steps: providing personalized refraction data of at least one eye of the spectacle wearer; defining a personalized eye model, in which at least the parameters: form of the front surface of the cornea (18) of a model eye (12); distance between the cornea and lens; parameters of the lens of the model eye; and distance between the retina and the lens; are defined on the basis of personalized measured values for the eye of the spectacle wearer and/or on the basis of standard values and/or on the basis of the personalized refraction data that has been provided, such that the model eye (12) has the provided personalized refraction data. At least the distance between the retina and the lens is defined by a calculation.
