A vessel, especially a vessel made of glass or of plastics to water and/or wine and/or milk, which is provided with a transparent layer of silver on its inner surface. A method of manufacture of this vessel according to which the inner surface of the vessel is exposed to the action of an aqueous solution of silver salt and to an aqueous solution of a reduction agent during which the silver from the vapours or from the solution is deposited on the surface. |
