abstract | The distributed Antenna System (DAS) for massive MIMO applications, comprises: a plurality of Point of Interface modules (POI, POI1, POI2, UL POI) connectable to a Baseband Unit (BBU) and configured for converting a digital data flow coming from the Baseband Unit (BBU) to RF signals and/or for converting incoming RF signals to a digital data flow to be sent to the Baseband Unit (BBU); a plurality of optical modules (OTRX1, OTRX2, OTRX3, OTRX4) operatively connected to the plurality of Point od Interface modules (POI, POI1, POI2, UL POI) and configured for performing an electro-optical conversion of the RF signals; a plurality of Remote Units (RU1, RU2, RU3, RU4, ULRU1, ULRU2, ULRU3, ULRU4) operatively connected to the optical modules (OTRX1, OTRX2, OTRX3, OTRX4) and to a plurality of antennas (ANT1, ANT2, ANT3, ANT4); in which the optical modules (OTRX1, OTRX2, OTRX3, OTRX4) comprises a plurality of uplink paths separated from each other and provided with respective uplink outputs (UL RF 1, UL RF 2). |
