titleOfInvention | Surgical tool |
abstract | The present invention describes a surgical tool that comprises a stylus, a point of the surgical tool at the distal end of the stylus, and a handle at the proximal end of the stylus which comprises means for actuating the point of the tool. The handle is formed by a ball joint comprising: a hemispherical base coupled to the stylus; a central hemisphere solidly connected to the hemispherical base and located at the centre thereof; a gripping clamp with a cylindrical inner surface concentric with the hemispherical base; a rotation hemisphere solidly connected to the gripping clamp and located at the centre thereof, forming a ball joint together with the central hemisphere; and locking means. The locking means allow a locking or unlocking position to be adopted, in which relative movement between the gripping clamp and the hemispherical base is prevented or permitted, respectively. |
