titleOfInvention Sensor for capturing at least one property of a measurement gas
abstract A sensor (110) for capturing at least one property of a measurement gas, in particular for capturing particles of a measurement gas in a measurement gas compartment, is proposed. The sensor (110) comprises at least one sensor element (112) having a carrier (114) and at least one measuring electrode (116, 118) which is connected to the carrier (114) and can be exposed to the measurement gas. The sensor (110) also comprises at least one controller (136) having at least one property measuring apparatus (138). The property measuring apparatus (138) is connected to at least a first end (122, 124) of the measuring electrode (116, 118) and is set up to capture at least one electrical signal. The sensor (110) also has at least one limiting resistor (128, 130) which is connected to at least a second end (124, 126) of the measuring electrode (116, 118). The sensor (110) also has at least one potential source (132, 134; 210; 312) which is connected to the second end (124, 126) via the limiting resistor (128, 130) and is set up to apply a variable electrical potential to the second end (124, 126).
