abstract The invention relates to a sensor (100) for use in an exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine and to a method for producing same. The sensor (100) has a first electrode assembly (130), a second electrode assembly (140) which is electrically insulated from the first electrode assembly (130) by means of an insulation assembly (160), and at least one connecting assembly (170) which is fastened via at least one soldered connection (172, 174) to the first electrode assembly (130) and to the insulation assembly (160) and is designed to position the first electrode assembly (130) relative to the second electrode assembly (140). The at least one soldered connection (172, 174) is arranged at least partially outside an electric field which is generated during measurement operation of the sensor (100) by applying a first electric potential to the first electrode assembly (130) and by applying a second electric potential to the second electrode assembly (140).
