titleOfInvention New use for mannose for increasing treg cell number and foxp3 factor expression level thereof
abstract The present application relates to the fields of medicine, food, health products and cosmetics, and specifically to the use of mannose. The present application relates to the use of mannose in the preparation of a drug, a food, a health product or a cosmetic product for treating autoimmune diseases, further relates to the use of mannose in the preparation of a drug, a food, a health product or a cosmetic product for maintaining immune homeostasis, and further relates to the use of mannose in the preparation of a drug, a food, a health product or a cosmetic product for increasing regulatory T (Treg) cell levels. Research has found that when Treg cell levels are imbalanced, mannose has certain effects on adjusting Treg cell levels such that the same may be used for drugs, foods, health products or cosmetic products for Treg cell level imbalance, and has the effects of treatment and adjuvant treatment on autoimmune diseases which are triggered by Treg cell level imbalance and immune homeostasis imbalance which is triggered by Treg cell level imbalance.
