titleOfInvention Bipolar electrode for nickel-hydrogen storage battery and nickel-hydrogen storage battery
abstract Provided is a bipolar electrode that includes: a metal foil; a first active substance layer disposed on the front side surface of the metal foil; and a second active substance layer having a larger surface area than the first active substance layer and disposed on the back side surface of the metal foil. The second active substance layer has a low-density region disposed at the peripheral-edge thereof in plan view as seen from the thickness direction of the metal foil, and a high-density region disposed inward from the low-density region and having a smaller void percentage than the low-density region.
