titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for producing a coil from a piece of dough and a separating sheet |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing a coil (02) from a piece of dough (03) and a separating sheet (04), comprising the following steps: a) feeding the piece of dough (03) onto a separating-sheet web (04) moving in the conveying direction (21); b) cutting to length the separating-sheet web (07) to form a separating sheet (04) which is assigned to the piece of dough (03) and has a front edge (19) in front of the piece of dough (03) and a rear edge (24) behind the piece of dough (03), wherein the separating sheet (04) has a front projection (22) projecting beneath the piece of dough (03) at the front edge (19) and/or a rear projection (23) projecting beneath the piece of dough (03) at the rear edge (24); c) rolling up the separating sheet (04) with the piece of dough (03) to form the coil (02); wherein use is made of a separating-sheet web (07) which has a residual-stress state, wherein the residual stress of the separating-sheet web (07), following the cutting-to-length operation, causes the cut-to-length separating sheet (04) to be rolled up automatically at the front edge (19) and/or the rear edge (24). |
