abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for discriminating a viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus (VHSV) and identifying a mutation thereof by using a PNA probe specifically binding with a non-virion (NV) gene of the VHSV and an analysis of the melting pattern of the PNA probe. The method has an effect whereby a mutation of a causative virus of contagious aquatic organism diseases is simply, promptly and accurately discriminated, whether or not fish are infected with the virus may be detected, and a mutation of the NV gene is identified. |
